Block Bonanza – Nancy Bryant First Saturday each month – Start anytime! One 15 minute demonstration On the hour at 9, 11 or 1
 

Each month we will present a block for you to complete and bring to the next session. If you complete the task, and bring it to the Saturday session, you will get the next block for free! Miss a month and you can start again for $5.  The pattern and fabric for the block are only available on demo day. The rules are strictly enforced, but the benefits are great! Pick your colorway from our three selections and off we go! Included each month will be the block pattern. How great is this? At the end of the year you will have completed the blocks for a large quilt. Start anytime. Call for more details! Sorry, not available by mail.

Thangles - Buck a Block

These blocks are the best buy in quilting! New blocks are available on the 1st of each month along with any prior blocks. You may choose from four colorways – Smoky Mountain Batiks, Classic Christmas, Late Summer Flowers or Graphic Black & White. Some ladies are doing several versions! Patterns are included each month. Thangles are sold separately. We will offer finishing kits for each of the colorways in different sizes, so you’ll be able to get the one you want! Current month's block is $1.00 - previous month's blocks are $2.00 as available.  Sorry, not available by mail.

Be Attitudes     Second Saturday each month
This block of the month quilt top can be made for $5. A block’s fabric kit is offered each month on the second Saturday at no additional charge. You may purchase the block kit any other day for $5. Finishing kits for borders, binding and backing are available for purchase. It is available by mail for $5 per block; postage included in the mainland U.S.  Purchase of the book is required; button sets are available for purchase.  Limit one free block per customer.
 

Moda Mystery Quilt            Third Saturday      $10 per month

 Moda has designed the best mystery quilt. Each month had several different blocks and filler blocks to complete. They gathered all of their wonderful designers such as Amy Bradley, Fig Tree Quilts, Minick & Simpson, Deb Strain (just to name a few) to make this a one of a kind quilt. We have chosen traditional “Moda” colors for our version. Each set will be available for pick up on the 3rd Saturday of the month. Each
set will cost $10 on that day only, for the current month, $15 thereafter – as available.
It is available by mail for $10 per block; postage included in the mainland U.S.
 

Wildflower Sampler Day         Fourth Saturday each month

Sixteen pieced blocks can be made for $5. A block’s fabric kit is offered each month
on the fourth Saturday at no additional charge. You may purchase the block kit any other
day for $5. Some of the blocks are partially paper pieced. The center block and borders
are appliquéd. The design is by Possibilities, so you know it is stunning! Finishing kits for
the center block, borders, binding and backing are available for purchase.

Purchase of the book is required.  It is available
by mail for $5 per block; postage included in the mainland U.S.  Limit one per customer.

Jelly Roll Club - Barb

Third Thursday each month

Daytime from 1:00 – 3:00 OR Evening from 6:00 – 8:00

You may have noticed these fun rolls of fabric strips all over the store! Moda has kitted up 2 ½” strips, using every color and style in a fabric line to make a wheel of fabric; known as a Jelly Roll. Well, we have lost our minds over these fantastic fabrics. We have many pattern to choose from, as the pattern designers have also found out the joys of Jellies! Since these strips are pre-cut, you can get down to sewing right away. It is a joy to almost finish a project just in the class time. Every month is different, so the projects vary from bags to quilts and everything in between! Thimbleberries Club -

    Lynette Jensen has designed a single quilt that can be made in two different colorways. The Lodge version is traditional Thimbleberries colors, while the Lakeside version in lighter, yet still true to the Thimbleberries style we have come to know and love. Monthly newsletters, extra projects and club membership are included at no additional cost to you! Lynette also has four patterns available for smaller projects. Start anytime! It is available

Darlene Zimmerman of Robert Kaufman Fabrics have a delightful program for those of us who love the 30's reproduction fabrics.  Each month features a different group of 30's fabrics and a charming small project; table runners, small quilts, aprons, pillows, towels, all designed to brighten every room in your house.  Club meetings include a sewing session, free pattern, newsletter, special discounts and are free to anyone who purchases the monthly fabric kit.  It is available by mail; postage additional. Garden Friends – The Quilt Company                  Available on the 1^st of each month
Starting in February 2008 - A brand new block of the month has come out from one of our favorite designers. We are offering it as a six month quilt. This sun-filled garden has 5 charming homes for your favorite garden friends – butterflies, birds, bees and even ladybugs! It can be made easily using fusible web and the blanket stitch on your sewing machine. It has an optional Fabric Accessory Packet that was designed especially for this quilt! Machine Embroidery Projects – These classes are designed for embroidery machine owners that have already taken the basic machine embroidery trainings.  All makes of machines are welcome, but the teacher is only fluent in 2100 series and creative vision Pfaffs.  You must bring your own embroidery machine for class unless you have purchased your creative vision from Abigayle’s.  You must purchase your own copy of the machine embroidery CD and bring it to class – no sharing.

Snowman Collector – Beverly Morris
Saturday, January 5 & 12   2:00 – 4:00 p.m.
     These redwork snowmen will just “melt your little heart”! This class is designed for the machine embroidered version made in the hoop. Class one will work on pre-quilting and in the hoop redwork. Class two will address piecing and putting it all together. Start off the new year with a fast quilt that will make you feel accomplished!
 

The Garden Club – Beverly Morris

Second Friday - January, February OR April 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.

     This quilt is a great way to progress in your skills as a machine embroiderer. Slightly increasing in difficulty, each class will show a new technique or an in the hoop skill. As you know, we love the machine embroidered appliqué and this quilt shows you why. It is a quilt that will be cherished for generations to come!

Wild!flowers – Beverly Morris         Join Anytime!

Fourth Friday each month, January - June 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.

     We LOVE these embroidered Wild!flowers! Easy in the hoop appliqué makes for
a quick embroidery. Batik fabrics lend a sophisticated flavor to this quilt and it is
universally appealing. Each class progresses in difficulty, but you can start the series
at any point. We make one flower in each class. You’ll want to put them on sweaters,
towels; just about anything you can get into the hoop!

When Children Dream – Nancy Bryant                                                              

         Friday, February 15 and 29 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.

  This darling "pinkwork" or "bluework" is embroidered quickly by machine.  The scrappy patchwork border is a treat to make with our fun fabric kit.  This pattern was a best-seller at Quilt Market.  Join Nancy for embroidery know-how and a patchwork primer.  Class One will work on the embroidery and Class Two will work on the patchwork and borders.  What a perfect quilt for the little ones in your life!

 If your cat is like mine, when she needs a quilt, she needs it now! Why not have one
just for her and her very favorite lounging spot? We have digitized the wording for
this “must-have” cat quilt for you, so all you have to do is sew! Simple piecing will make
for a very fast & fun morning!
